Comment by KevinHawkins To find the entrance to the cave, run out from the village heading west, then turn to the right. Very fast respawn of surrounding monsters makes it very difficult to ressurect after dying on this "boss".
As some previously stated, he turns into cat and deals a lot of damage. If you are below lvl 8 and don't manage to pull him without any adds, you probably won't stand much chance even with a health potion. I'd really suggest being at least lvl 8 and bringing a potion. Or a friend - that works always : He also spawns on two different places with two different accesses - either by the pond or on the cliff.
There's no way of telling before you fight your way in, so you might have to fight your way through the whole cave system : Anyway - just be careful and don't die inside that cave, or you will find yourself ressurecting in the middle of several monsters. I simply hit Hunter's Mark, hit concussion, serpent, and arcane shot at him, and simply waited for him to come around. He aggroes a lot of the grells, but you should be able to kill him, loot him, and then die without res. You're also back to town. That's what i did and the entire cave system is small enough so he can run from the cliff all the way through the tunnels to you You'll be in combat the entire time and have to fight about mobs, good luck.
